We are a non-for-profit organisation which currently relies solely on membership and entry fees.

 

Our objective is to provide a much needed and desired all year round junior golf tour.

To be able, not only to compete, but to meet and play with children of the same age or ability  is paramount to improving and continued enjoyment of the wonderful game of golf.

 

One of the many beliefs on the BJGT is that golf should be available to all children regardless of level of ability, affordability, background and status. 

For many years golf has been seen as for the elite. Many young talented players never make it to the top level purely due to the cost involved in reaching the Euro Pro tour level.

 

With today's technology, many of children's activities and games have advanced to solely indoor and predominantly less mobile interests.

 

Golf is a sport which can be played by all generations together, and by the very nature of game, brings children and families together enjoying the environment and beautiful nature of golf courses.

 

Our vision for the future is to be able to support BJGT players by offering them sponsorships, we began in 2007 with our first player of the year Joshua Thorley, who then became part of the England team. In 2008/09 Tom Kisby became our second successful ambassador.
 
Currently Steven Waddell is enjoying sponsorship through to August 2010, which hopefully will assist him in becoming his aim of a scatch golfer.
