A cracking finish to the BB&O Tour as all players put on a great display of golf, round the testing 9 hole course at Wavendon.

Wavendon have been supporters of the Tour from the beginning and they continued this by providing us with a function room to use and a pack of balls for a putting competition.

 

Tiger Adams just beat James Thomas to the balls for the putting competition, but they did require a 10th hole to settle things.

Zac Jenkins fired the best of the day as he and Tiger pushed each other all the way, and it was Zac's superb up and down at the last while Tiger missed his putt that was the only difference.

There was another tight finish to the 12 & under age category as Jack Munday and Thomas Gray went head to head following a couple of withdrawals, and Jack's 39 was enough to put him 2 shots clear and the 10 points were enough to move him to joint top spot in the Order of Merit.

James Thomas put in another fine performance as his confidence grows on Tour, his round of 37 was enoughto secure the win with Scott Proctor coming home in second.

A 3-way battle in the 6 & under age group that will probably go all the way to the final was on display at Wavendon between our 3 representatives from the World Championships this year, and it was as tight as we expected. Lewis Brown with a great par at the last secured the victory on this occasion with Xavier Schwarz and Ryan Hunter needing a playoff to decide the runner up place. Ryan just edged out Xavier at the first extra hole as he made a great par 3.
